An EOFY donation is a gift you make before the financial year ends on 30 June, so you can claim it in that year's tax return. Pick a charity with DGR status, like the six below, and your receipt is ready when you need it.

Australia's financial year runs from 1 July to 30 June. Donations you make by 30 June go in that year's tax return. Anything you give on or after 1 July counts towards the next year.
That's why many people give in June. It's a good moment to look back on the year, pick a cause, and top up your giving before the deadline. Monthly donors can see their gifts in their donation history too.
Leave a little time before 30 June so your payment goes through. For how deductions work in general, see our guide to tax deductible donations.
Each one is ACNC-registered and listed on Tap4Change. Tap a card to see their profile, their latest updates and how to give.

Want a different charity? Search all 60,000+ charities. How we picked these six: from Tap4Change's charity data, we took the charity with the highest recent annual donations in six different causes, all marked tax deductible and rated 3 stars with a complete profile. Hospitals, schools, universities, religious groups and charities already featured in our other guides were left out.
Some donations come with a thank you perk from a partner brand, like a voucher or a free product. It's a small thanks for showing up, never the reason to give. Offers change often, so check what's on when you donate.

The financial year ends on 30 June. Donations made on or before that date can go in that year's tax return.
It's a good idea not to leave it to the last minute, so your payment has time to go through.
Add your deductible donations to your tax return for that financial year. Keep a record, like a receipt, that shows the charity, the date and the amount.
You can download your receipt from your profile to claim it at tax time.

A thank you perk is a small gesture from a brand that partners with Tap4Change, such as a voucher or a free product, offered with some donations. Your donation still goes 100% to the charity. The perk comes from the brand, and offers rotate, so what's available depends on when you give.
If you can't donate right now, reach out to the Tap4Change team at support@tap4change.org. Sharing a charity's page is a great way to help too.
